Join our team as a Locum CRNA in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position is part of a float pool at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring full-time OB and thoracic experience.

Job Description

• Start Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Length: 6-12 months preferred
• Schedule: 36-40 hours/week (full-time required)
• Shift Options: 8s, 10s, or 12s (primarily days; occasional nights)
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend/month (7a-7p)
• Call: Optional beeper call (nightly or weekend) with 1 call shift per 8-week schedule
• Compensation: $500 (7p-7a) or $400 (8a-3p weekend)
• Flexibility: May be required for one holiday shift; 3 schedule requests allowed per 8-week cycle (not guaranteed)
• Supervision: 4:1 supervision model
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

Clinical Responsibilities

• Case Types: OB, Thoracic, EP, Vascular, Ortho, GI, ENT, Healthy Peds Dental/ENT, General Surgery
• Excluded Cases: No transplants
• Anesthesia Model: CRNAs perform own epidurals and spinals; no peripheral nerve blocks
• Facilities: Main OR, 4-OR satellite hospital, and 6-OR ASC (occasional float required)
• Trauma Designation: Level II Trauma Center
• Experience: Minimum 2 years required; must have OB & Thoracic experience
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified NBCRNA
• License: Active Virginia license or in process
• Certifications: BLS and AHA certifications required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years, including Level II trauma experience
• Skills: Proficient in spinals and epidural placement and management
