Job Description

• Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible family medicine physician.
• Our ideal candidate would be an easy-going, patient-centered physician leader.
• OB for this position is optional.
• Weekend clinic call is 1:8 (1:9 starting September '23). Weeknight call 1:8 (1:9 starting September '23).
• Multi-specialty group that consists of Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants, along with integrated Behavioral Health providing 4 Psychotherapists, 1 Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Behavioral Health MD (via Telehealth).
• Over 20 outreach specialists including Ophthalmology, ENT, Audiology, OBGYN, General Surgery, Weight Management, Diabetes, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Pain Management, Orthopedic Medicine & Surgery, Podiatry, Cardiology, Tobacco Cessation, Medication Therapy Management, Gastroenterology, Vascular Surgery, and Urology all on-site as well as others available at the main campus in Duluth.
• Nurse-on-line triage available 24/7.
• EPIC (electronic medical records) in clinic and hospital.
• Admit to local hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital facility with transitional care services. ER physicians staff the ED, along with a PA who staffs the Fast Track ER. Transfers complex cases to a nearby 330-bed facility (7 miles from clinic) with Level 1 Trauma designation.
• Urgent Care staffed 7 days a week with NP/PA providers.

Requirements

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
