Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity

A facility in Worcester, MA is seeking Hematology/Oncology locum coverage with an ASAP start for a 6-12 month assignment. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule with clinic and call responsibilities in an outpatient-focused setting.

Job Description

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6-12 months
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3-5 days per week
• Must be able to cover at least 3-4 days weekly
• Clinic hours with after-hours call

Practice Setting & Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting
• Admissions required
• Rounding responsibilities
• Assigned and unassigned patients
• No procedures or surgeries

Volume & Call

• Clinic patients per day: 15-18
• Rounding: approximately 5 patients
• Call volume: 10 calls while on call
• Hospital stroke certified

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Massachusetts license required
• ACLS and BLS required
• EMR: Clinic uses ONCO EMR; hospital uses Cerner
