NP/PA Oncology

Join our team as a NP/PA in Oncology at a hospital-employed Level III Trauma Center in Coos Bay, Oregon. This permanent, full-time position offers a great work-life balance with no nights or weekends.

Job Description

• Full-time, day shift with 4x10-hour shifts per week
• No nights, no weekends
• Paid call shared equally
• Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient consults

Practice Environment

• 127-bed hospital with a large regional cancer center
• Oncology services including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and medical oncology
• Cancer support and clinical trials
• New 19-chair infusion room, onsite pharmacy, radiation oncology, lab, and nurse navigation
• Current team consists of 1 NP locum and 2 oncologists
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Full-scope advanced practice oncology care
• Patient assessments, care planning, and coordination with the oncology team
• Participation in clinical trials, navigation, and infusion services
• Outpatient-focused care with high collaboration

Requirements

• NP or PA license (Oregon eligible)
• NPDB self-query report required
• Clean malpractice and background history
• Residency in or relocation to the local area required
• Strong clinical acumen, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Not open to locums or remote candidates
