Join our team as the Medical Director for a pediatric hospitalist practice in Hollister, California. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a community hospital setting.

Job Description

• Serve as Medical Director for a pediatric hospitalist practice
• Schedule: 12 x 24-hour shifts per month (on-call from home)
• Setting: Community hospital with 500 annual deliveries
• Newborn & Pediatric Care Focused:
  • High-risk delivery attendance
  • Pediatric ER consults
  • Well newborn care
  • Low-acuity pediatric admissions
• Coordinate with Level III NICU in San Jose for neonatal transports
• Local or commuting candidates welcome; relocation may be required

Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatrician - Required
• Current inpatient hospital experience - Required
• Must reside locally or be willing to relocate
• Not accepting locum tenens or visa candidates
