Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Locum Tenens - CVT PA Opportunity in Albany, New York

We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) with an active New York license to join a Cardiothoracic Surgery service line in Albany, New York.

Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Schedule Options: Weekdays and Weekends (Weekends are preferred)
• 24 Hour Shifts
• Ideal candidates will be able to offer up to 4 shifts per month
• First assist in the operating room
• Vein harvest procedures
• Radial Harvest ICU Procedures: (Chest Tubes, A-Lines, Central line placement)
• Post-op care including step-down unit/floor
• Management of ECMO, CRRT, Impella devices & IABP
• Support the cardiothoracic surgical team in clinic, inpatient, and ICU settings
• Floor and Emergency Room Consults

Requirements

• Board-certified Physician Assistant
• Active New York license required
• OR first assist experience with proven vein harvest skills
