Job Description:
- Provide Occupational Therapy and related services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Maintain positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients
- Provide quality patient care, ongoing treatment, supervision of Rehab Techs, and case management
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist
- Build a strong occupational therapy assistant program
- Enhance clinical expertise, professional, and management skills through interaction, self-study, and continuing education
- Maintain valid state license and awareness of occupational therapy and healthcare environment issues
- Understand relevant payment models and provide quality care with reasonable goals and outcomes
- Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Computer Skills: Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation skills
- Certificates and Licenses: Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant state license
