Education/Experience:
- Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
Computer Skills:
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid physical therapist state license
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy and related services while maintaining positive interaction with facilities and clients
- Deliver quality patient care including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning
- Supervise assistants and Rehab Techs, and manage cases
- Adhere to Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines and state/federal regulations
- Optimize patient functionality and skills
- Provide consultation and clinical supervision to PTAs
- Supervise PTA and Rehab Tech to ensure efficient resource utilization and skill development
- Build a strong physical therapy program
- Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through interaction and continuing education
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about the profession and healthcare environment
- Understand relevant payment models and provide quality care within guidelines
- Comply with infection control procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
