Clinical Psychologist (Doctorate) - Autism Testing and Reporting
Reliatus Behavioral Health, a leading mental health organization specializing in comprehensive assessments, therapy, and support services, is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Rockville, Maryland. This full-time position is dedicated to conducting Autism Assessments to provide valuable insights and support for individuals and their families.
Job Description
- Conduct thorough and accurate Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments using standardized tools, clinical interviews, and observational methods.
- Provide clear and comprehensive diagnostic evaluations based on assessment findings, in accordance with the latest diagnostic criteria and best practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other psychologists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Maintain detailed and organized assessment records, prepare written reports, and communicate findings effectively to clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the latest research, diagnostic tools, and treatment modalities related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, and actively participate in ongoing professional development.
- Offer guidance and support to individuals and families by explaining assessment results, recommending appropriate interventions, and facilitating referrals to additional services when necessary.
- Uphold ethical guidelines and standards set by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and current license as a psychologist in the state of Maryland or ability to obtain licensure to belong to the "PsychPac."
- Demonstrated experience in conducting Autism Assessments and diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder is not required; experience as a Clinical Psychologist is sufficient.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
