General Ophthalmologist

Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network, is seeking a General Ophthalmologist to join our highly successful medical group. The ideal candidate will have completed a Glaucoma Fellowship.

Job Description:

• Treat adults 18+ with early stage glaucoma using drops and laser
• Perform advanced glaucoma surgery (if desired), basic retina lasers, and some cornea refractive surgery
• Join an established practice as the division's first General Ophthalmologist under the Department of Surgery
• Work in the outpatient clinic Monday to Friday
• Participate in research, medical education, and expanded clinical care through affiliation with Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine

Program & Position Highlights:

• Monday to Friday schedule; 8 AM to 5 PM
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Join current team of Adult Neuro Ophthalmologist and Pediatric Neuro Ophthalmologist

• Average 12-15 patients per day
