Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

The Cardiopulmonary Department currently has a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) position available to assist with cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, and cardio-respiratory care. Roane General Hospital in Spencer, WV is a Critical Care Access Hospital with 35 SNF/ICF beds, 25 acute care beds, Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, three Rural Health Clinics, and a walk-in clinic.

Job Description

• Assist with cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, and cardio-respiratory care.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a WVBORC license.
• Must be credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Maintain certifications in CPR, ACLS, and preferably PALS. Applicants who lack the certification in ACLS must be willing to complete it within 6 months of employment.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn the full operations of the Cardiopulmonary Department.
