    CT Technologist

    Job Description

    • Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for the CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs.
    • Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts.
    • Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock, and prepare rooms.

    Requirements

    • Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology in Applied Science or equivalent.
    • NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment).
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment.
    • Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred.
    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

    Pay Range

    $32.00 - $44.00

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components.
