Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/ADNS)

Location: Newton

Job Description:

• Serve as the second in command of the nursing department.
• Collaborate with the DON/DNS to enhance patient care quality and services.
• Oversee the team in the absence of the DON/DNS, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Joint Commission guidelines.
• Computer literate with knowledge of EMR.
