Orthopedic Specialty Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to the team.

Job Description

• Previous orthopedic experience is preferred but will train a new graduate with interest in orthopedics.
• The position includes both the clinic and OR.
• The new Physician Assistant will be working with a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Cases include both pediatric and adult and includes total joints, trauma, back, etc.
• Recent graduates please apply.

Responsibilities

• First assist
• Initial evaluations
• Joint aspiration and injections
• Pre-op and post-op H&Ps
• Reductions of fractures and dislocations
• Write scripts
• Coordinate with Physical Therapist and ATCs
• Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan, and MRI
• Casting and splinting
• Possibility to run clinics
• Hospital rounds

Location Overview

The location is 40 minutes to Bloomington. This city has universities, a local airport, low cost of living, and excellent school systems. Salary depends on experience plus an excellent production bonus plan. There is a full benefits package offered.
