    Location: An hour south of Waco, Texas

    Job Description:

    • Provide a full range of primary health care services, including diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illness
    • Focus on health promotion and disease prevention
    • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and X-rays
    • Prescribe medication
    • Collaborate with other providers in planning, evaluating, coordinating, and revising programs
    • Determine conditions, resources, and policies essential to delivery of healthcare services
    • Provide administrative supervision and general instruction
    • Plan, assign work, schedule, approve leave, and complete performance evaluations
    • Supervise mid-level providers and nurse manager as part of the primary care team

    Requirements:

    • Training as a Primary Care physician, board certified in family medicine or internal medicine
    • 2+ years of experience as an IM or FP physician
    • Ability to manage a patient panel in an 8-hour shift, predominantly geriatric males
    • Experience with chronic disease (diabetes/hypertension) and pain management

    Compensation Package:

    • Salary up to $250k/year, DOE
    • Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm schedule with no evenings or weekends
    • Up to 56 hours of sick time
    • 11 vacation days

    • CME days and course reimbursement
    • Malpractice liabilities of $1,000,000/3,000,000 coverage, without a time limitation on claims filed
