Registered Nurse III (Virtual)

Join our team as a Registered Nurse III (Virtual) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide patient care through a secure virtual link while working from an on-site office location.

Job Description

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies/procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status through evidence-based practice.
• Perform admit, discharge chart review, and other patient care duties via secure virtual link to patient rooms.
• Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate and facilitate patient discharge through timely referrals and education.
• Virtually evaluate patients, educate patients and families on disease processes and procedures, and re-evaluate patients as appropriate.
• Coach and mentor nurses on the floor regarding patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of registered nurse experience in an acute care setting.
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• Completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing approved by a state board of nursing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to use information technology for communication and decision-making.
• Working knowledge of general disease state management processes and clinical pathways.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
• Comfort with tele/virtual monitoring equipment.

• Must meet and maintain Clinical Nurse III requirements pursuant to the Saint Francis Hospital Clinical Ladder for Registered Nurses.
