    Clinical Supervisor

    Join our team as a Clinical Supervisor, where you will work with adult patients facing challenges such as dementia, depression, Alzheimer's, and personality disorders. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care without the need for a lift unit. You will complete the Proact de-escalation program within 30 days of hire.

    Job Description

    • Manage human resources to maintain compliance with approved standards and guidelines for nursing care within established budget parameters.
    • Provide clinical expertise in patient placement.
    • Communicate appropriately to define and resolve immediate problems and promote continuity of patient care.
    • Serve as a clinical resource for patient care activities and problem resolution.
    • Evaluate and adjust staffing requirements.
    • Coach and counsel nursing personnel according to established policies.
    • Monitor adherence to time and attendance policy.
    • Facilitate patient movement through assessment of patient needs and coordination of transfers.
    • Demonstrate professional judgment in response to changing patient and unit situations.
    • Monitor and evaluate standards of care.
    • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care as necessary to meet patient needs.
    • Assist in the revision and development of policies, procedures, and established protocols.
    • Identify education and training needs of personnel and assist in developing and implementing in-service programs.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Education: Completion of the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing, holding or entitled to hold a diploma or degree.
    • Licensure: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; certification in area of specialty preferred.
    • Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience.
    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways; effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively; detail-oriented in examining clinical and numerical data.
