Be a part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join a dynamic team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. The position available will work 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, working every other weekend. This position will also work every other holiday.

Job Description

• Manages and supervises the activities of a shift in the care center.
• Acts as a resource in interpreting nursing policies and procedures and their application to residents and staff.
• Assigns staff to handle campus emergencies in the absence of administrative staff.

Requirements

• Three years of nursing experience is required, preferably in a senior or acute care setting.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State Regulations.
• Knowledge of the scope of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Effective time management/prioritization and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and related software, with particular familiarity with databases.

Wage

$40.49 - $54.96, based on experience.
