Job Description

• Work with various age groups and diagnoses in a full-time role at the East Interstate Family Medicine Clinic.
• Utilize team nursing with a dependable and cohesive group.
• Apply your scope of practice to its fullest with the vast amount of skills utilized with the populations we serve.
• Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• No weekends or holidays.
• Experience is credited to wage range: RN $27.00 - $38.50 / LPN $20.50 - $29.50.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Document a thorough medical history from patients.
• Contribute to the assessment of patients and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counsel patients and families, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possesses multi-state licensure privileges.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
