Stony Brook, New York (USA). Sante Consulting has been engaged to identify a new Vice Chair of Anatomic Pathology for the Department of Pathology at the Stony Brook Renaissance School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be a visionary, decisive leader driven to inspire a collaborative and inclusive environment for the department's continued excellence in clinical service, education, and research.

Requirements:

• MD, DO (or foreign equivalent) in Anatomic Pathology
• American Board of Pathology board certified in Anatomic Pathology
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a drive for innovation
• Proven diagnostic skills
• Potential to serve as an outstanding educator of medical students, pathology residents, and clinical fellows
• Scholarly contributions in clinical/translational research
• Experience in medical education
• Fellowship training or demonstration of expertise in Surgical Pathology or sub-specialty areas including (but not limited to) gynecologic, breast, genitourinary, head & neck, pediatric, and bone and soft tissue are beneficial, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for the Divisions of Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, and Autopsy
• Report directly to the Chair of Pathology
• Support continued excellence in clinical service, education, and research
