Emergency General Surgeon

Medical Group is hiring a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency General Surgeon to join our practice in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position requires fifteen 12-hour shifts per month (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), assigned based on surgeons' requests. Must work a combination of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. APP support is available daily during the 7am-7pm shift. The surgeon is to be available for all emergency room and inpatient surgical consults during their shift. Post-op patients are to be followed up with on an outpatient basis at our downtown general surgery outpatient clinic. The surgeon is scheduled for 1 to 2 outpatient clinics per month.

Job Description

• Join a surgery team of 4 physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 5 Physician Assistants, and Support Staff
• Onsite Testing and Procedure Room available
• 15 shifts per month (12-hour, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)
