Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Join a specialized and experienced team of 3 PTs, 1 PTA, and 1 OT/CHT. Our team includes manually certified and orthopedic specialists with expertise in kinesiotaping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, concussion, vestibular, and running rehabilitation. Job Description

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Requirements

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.
