Job Description
- Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
- Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed (or be eligible to complete) the NBCOT examinations for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Possess Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state that the job is located in.
- Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care experience in a hospital setting is a plus.
