Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Join our team at the Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Canton, OH, where we care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and is PRN / Per Diem / As Needed, with shifts from 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. (no rotating shifts required). Pay is $40.00 per hour.

Job Description

• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift; PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience preferred.
