Job Description:
- Perform MRI examinations on inpatients, outpatients, and ECC patients per approved radiologist protocol
- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, obtain IV access, inject contrast, and operate the MRI scanner
- Conduct standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as necessary
- Fulfill duties to meet the needs of the hospital as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
- Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT and/or graduate of an accredited MRI Technology Program
- SCRQSA Certification required if applicable
- Experience and training in high-tech imaging modalities, equipment, and procedures
- Must meet continuing education requirements
- Current CPR certification required
