    Job Description:

    • Perform MRI examinations on inpatients, outpatients, and ECC patients per approved radiologist protocol
    • Obtain patient history, explain procedures, obtain IV access, inject contrast, and operate the MRI scanner
    • Conduct standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as necessary
    • Fulfill duties to meet the needs of the hospital as directed by the supervisor

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
    • Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT and/or graduate of an accredited MRI Technology Program
    • SCRQSA Certification required if applicable
    • Experience and training in high-tech imaging modalities, equipment, and procedures
    • Must meet continuing education requirements
    • Current CPR certification required
