Job Description

• Perform MRI examinations on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care patients per approved radiologist protocol.
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, obtain IV access, and inject contrast in addition to operating the MRI scanner.
• Perform all duties within the department, including standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as deemed necessary.
• Meet the needs of the hospital and perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT and/or graduate of an accredited MRI Technology Program.
• SCRQSA Certification required if applicable.
• Experience and training in high-tech imaging modalities, equipment, and procedures.
• Must meet continuing education requirements.
• Current CPR certification required.
