Job Description

• Perform diagnostic scans: Conduct CT scans as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images.
• Patient positioning: Properly position patients for comfort and accuracy, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety.
• Administer contrast materials: Safely administer contrast agents and follow protocols when necessary.
• Monitor patient vital signs: Track and respond to patient vitals during scans, ready to act in emergencies.
• Evaluate image quality: Assess images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Equipment maintenance: Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting malfunctions to appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with medical teams: Work with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Maintain records: Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including protocols, dosage, and adverse reactions.
• Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Stay current: Continuously seek professional development and stay updated on advancements in CT technology.

Requirements

• BLS Certification (required)
• ARRT Certification (required)
• 2+ years of CT Technologist experience in a clinical setting
