Location: Torrance, CA
Job Description:
- Perform interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainages, stent placements, and venous access
- Ensure patients are ready for procedures, explaining the process to ease any concerns, and prioritizing their comfort
- Operate imaging equipment to ensure clear, high-quality diagnostic images for accurate assessments
- Administer contrast agents by following protocols to ensure safety
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records, including patient data and procedure details
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Stay updated on technological advancements and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- ARRT Certification
- CRT Certification
- CA License
- 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
