Job Description

• Operate MRI equipment: Capture high-quality diagnostic images using advanced MRI scanners following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety: Screen patients for contraindications, prepare them for procedures, and adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols.
• Position patients: Position patients correctly and adjust imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic results.
• Administer contrast agents: Administer contrast agents under physician direction to enhance imaging quality.
• Monitor patients: Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Evaluate image quality: Review images to ensure clarity, proper labeling, and diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain records: Document all procedures, findings, and patient information accurately and in compliance with departmental policies.
• Collaborate with team members: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
• Perform equipment maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and report technical issues to ensure MRI equipment functions optimally.
• Stay current: Keep up-to-date with advancements in MRI technology and best practices in the field.

Requirements

• BLS certification (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• 2+ years of MRI Technologist experience in a clinical setting
