Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

• Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols and physician directives
• Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure patients are properly screened for contraindications and are prepared for the MRI procedure
• Properly position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to optimize image quality and ensure accurate diagnostic information
• Administer contrast agents under the direction of a physician as required for enhanced imaging
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and cooperation
• Evaluate MRI images for quality and clarity, communicating any findings to the interpreting radiologist
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including all procedure details and diagnostic findings
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols to minimize risks associated with radiation exposure and hazardous materials

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• ARRT Certification
• 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
