Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging: Conduct procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other specialized imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients: Explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, and address any concerns.
• Positioning and imaging: Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
• Operate radiographic equipment: Use imaging equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety regulations and shielding techniques.
• Evaluate image quality: Review and ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Work closely with physicians and other team members to determine imaging needs and discuss findings.
• Maintain records: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, including imaging results and observations.
• Equipment maintenance: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Stay current: Continuously update knowledge of advancements in radiologic technology and techniques.
• Adhere to policies: Follow departmental and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide exceptional patient care: Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect during all patient interactions.

Requirements

• BLS certification (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• 2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience in a clinical setting
