    Job Description:

    • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
    • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
    • Maintain the highest degree of quality care as required by the Director of Nursing.

    Pay and Compensation:

    • Up to $35/hr base hourly rate plus periodic bonuses based on facility demand.
    • Additional compensation includes:
      • 1.5X Holiday Pay
      • 1.5X Overtime Pay for hours worked over 40 per week

    Responsibilities:

    • Observe and manage resident health according to individual needs.
    • Provide routine care, ensure comfort, and report changes in resident health and behavior.
    • Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history and physical condition.
    • Administer medications and injections, provide wound care, and perform diagnostic procedures.
    • Handle special projects and duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state license.
    • Current/active CPR certification.
    • Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
    • Ability to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
    • Ability to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.

    Work Schedule:

    • Flexible hours available; full-time or part-time positions.
    • Shifts include days, nights, and weekends.
