Emergency Medicine Physician

SMART is actively recruiting for a locum emergency medicine physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in College Station, TX. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing during permanent recruitment.

Job Description

• Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
• APC Shift Times: 11a-9p
• Annual Volume: 23,000
• Average 16% admit rate
• ED runs codes
• Back up specialties: FM, IM, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, ENT, ID, Neurology, and GI consults
• Level IV trauma center
• EMR: PICIS

Requirements

• Active TX license preferred but will consider those with IMLC
• BC/BE Emergency Medicine
• Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
• For EM Boarded: ACLS and PALS required to be current; ATLS can be expired but will need a copy of the card
• Looking for candidates with at least 3-4 shifts of availability per month
