Inpatient Dietitian Nutritionist

No need to go far to change the world - one patient at a time. Sodexo is seeking an inpatient Dietitian Nutritionist to join their dynamic clinical team at University Hospitals TriPoint Medical Center located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles Northeast of Cleveland. This position will also involve employee nutrition wellness initiatives. Selected candidate will provide back-up coverage at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Job Description

• Provide inpatient nutrition care
• Work rotating on-call weekends and holidays providing hospital-wide coverage
• Perform quality improvement tasks such as patient satisfaction rounds, test trays and tray audits, and medical reviews
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Be responsible for managing the nutrition care process, including comprehensive nutrition assessments, determining nutrition diagnoses and planning and implementing nutrition interventions
• Participate in the coordination of weekly 1-hour nutritional education training for behavioral health

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in OH
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
