    Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join their experienced clinical team for Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. Union Hospital is a not-for-profit, 345-bed hospital. Our clinical team strives for excellence and is made up of dietitians with certifications in Nutrition Support, Diabetes, and Management. This is a great opportunity for new RDs as well as experienced Dietitians!

    Some hybrid work is available.

    Start with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually.

    Job Description

    • Be a Registered Dietitian looking to gain experience while enhancing your clinical skills.
    • Represent the department on hospital-wide nursing and medical staff committees.
    • Meet DOH/State/HFAP/Federal and company standards.
    • Be a liaison with medical and nursing staff.
    • Provide in-patient nutrition education as needed.
    • Support the Nutrition Services Department through department initiatives and programming.

    Requirements

    • Registered Dietitian credentials or are RD-eligible.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to creatively problem-solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to make every day a better day for our clients and patients.
    • Passion for driving and improving the patient experience for the population we serve.
    • Desire to become Certified in Pediatric Nutrition within 2 years of employment.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Minimum Education Requirement:

    • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

    For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

    • Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

    Credentials Requirement:

    • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities, the RD/RDN credentials are required at the time of hire.

    Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
