Job Description

• Minimum 1+ years Medical Tech experience required
• Open to first-time travelers
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM / Nights / 5x8s

Requirements

• ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification required
• Louisiana license required
• 1 year of experience

Required Skills

• Chemistry: 24 hr urine, cardiac enzymes, hormone/thyroid, immunoassay, therapeutic drug monitoring, thyroid testing, tumor markers
• Hematology: Bleeding time, CBC manual, manual differential, fibrin split products, fibrinogen, platelet aggregation, platelet count, reticulocyte count, sed rate manual
• Immunology: ANA, ASO titer, body fluids, C3 C$ Total complement, pregnancy test, rapid test kids, RPR
• Specimen Processing: Accessioning, pipetting, specimen collection
• Urinalysis: Crystal identification, manual macroscopic UA, microscopic UA
