- Full-time hours: M-F 7 am-5 pm, with some Saturdays required.
- Performs imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries and supports the general operation of the office.

- On-site preceptor for Mammography Technologist trainees.
The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. The individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.
A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist
- Understands, promotes, and demonstrates the Solis Way.
- Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
- Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
- Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated written or oral instructions.
- Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography.
- ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible.
- Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT.
- High School Diploma; Associates degree preferred.
- Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location.
- Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred.
- Two years of experience in mammography is preferred.
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.
- Prior quality control experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Sign-on bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M). Amount offered may vary in an amount of up to $7,500 depending upon experience level, location, and qualifications.
