    Job Description

    • Join our close-knit team of nine EM board-certified physicians and three Advanced Practice providers at Samaritan Healthcare.
    • Work in a level III trauma center with an annual ED volume of 25,000.
    • Collaborate with a great relationship with the hospitalist service and support from general surgery, OB/GYN, radiology, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, GI, and tele neurology.
    • APPs see patients independently with good support from physicians (a physician will always be on staff during their shift).
    • Physicians manage the sickest patients while APPs run the department.
    • Enjoy great collaboration among physicians and APPs, with physicians eager to teach and support APPs.

    Requirements

    • Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner with recent acute care experience.
    • ED experience is required due to the high acuity of patients and autonomy of the role.
