    Job Description:

    • Ascension Borgess Allegan Hospital is a small 25-bed critical access hospital. We are building out a team of 2 APPs.
    • Our group will hold two team meetings a month to communicate trends, hospital news, and group performance.
    • We expect our APPs to participate in multi-disciplinary rounds with case management, nursing, and pharmacy.
    • We also encourage our providers to join hospital committees and quality directives.

    Qualifications:

    • Nurse Practitioner board certification required

    Flexible Scheduling:

    • A flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out.
    • We will have one APP that works independently and manages their census of patients daily from 7 am to 7 pm.
    • The APP works in conjunction with a physician providing remote supervision.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ascension Borgess Allegan Hospital is a small 25-bed critical access hospital with no ICU. Our APPs care for inpatients in this low-acuity facility.
    • The average census fluctuates between 7 and 10 patients daily, with three to four patients being low-acuity swing bed patients.
    • The last admissions are taken at 6 PM.
