Looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a turnkey practice with an experienced team of providers! Our NPs have 10+ years of GI experience. Jesse Houghton, MD, FACG, has been rooted in the community since 2012! Will be busy immediately! Call is light.

Job Description

• Join a turnkey practice with an experienced team of providers
• Work in a stable, hospital-employed position with a collaborative and supportive team
• Manage a case load of 10-15 procedures per day in the Endo Suite and 30 patients per day in the clinical office

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000
• Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000

Practice Location

• Single practice location at SOMC Gastroenterology Associates located in Portsmouth, OH
• Hospital Endoscopy Suite is a 2-minute walk from office location

Office Hours/Work Schedule

• Clinical office is open M-TH 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Staffing

• 1 physician, 2 NPs
• 1 Service Line Manager
• 1 Office Manager
• 2 LPNs
• 3 MOAs

Call Schedule

• Call is light
• Can take call from home, rarely need to come in for emergent cases
• Pay for call program

Equipment

• Olympus scopes and video equipment, everything is monitored
• New Provation Medical Documentation System (electronic medical record, sends orders to office, post-op notes dictated and printed, consults to other physicians - helps with coding and billing)
• Olympus 190 adult and pediatric scopes
• High resolution esophageal manometry
• Bravo pH
• Rapid Pillcam
• 5 large endo suites (former OR rooms)
• 8 exam rooms in office
