Job Description

• Provide and manage the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients alongside an excellent ancillary staff with a Rapid Response Team.
• Work in a collegial and professional environment on a 7-day block schedule.
• Provide full or partial services to private attending physicians who elect to utilize the Hospitalist Services.
• Attend monthly Hospitalist meetings.
• Involved in quality and patient experience committees.
• Work in a team environment to provide high-quality care.
• Manage an average patient caseload of 15-17 patients.
• Adapt and be flexible to new CMS regulations.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• ACLS/BLS certified.
• Trained in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine/Family Practice.
• NYS Medical Doctor License (Required).
