Licensed Practical Nurse

StaffHealth is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our facility in Denton, Texas. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will report to the Nurse (RN) Manager/Supervisor and will work alongside caregivers to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Description

• Provides direct care to residents in the facility under the direction of nursing staff, primarily for their activities of daily living, plan of care assistance with restorative programs, and documentation as required by the facility.
• Measures vital signs.
• Clean and pressed scrubs are required.
• Clear and accurate charting must be completed before the end of your shift.
• Timesheet must be signed by Supervisor on Duty prior to submitting to StaffHealth.
• Day and night shifts available (8-hour shifts).
• Work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week (five 8-hour shifts allowed Monday to Sunday).
• Three completed references are required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (LVN/LPN).
• State licensure.
• Current physical.
• MMR vaccine.
• Current PPD.
• Valid CPR certification (Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent).
• Background checks and pre-employment drug screenings are required.
