    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

    StaffMed Health Partners is partnering with a community acute-care hospital in the Chicago area to assist with the recruitment of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an Anesthesia Care Team model. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive 1099 compensation, and a strong, collaborative anesthesia team environment.

    Job Description

    • Community acute-care hospital with 7 ORs (1-3 rooms running daily)
    • Team consists of 6 CRNAs and 1 PRN anesthesiologist
    • Case mix includes:
      • General Surgery
      • Orthopedics
      • GI
      • Urology
      • Podiatry
      • Gynecology
      • Cath Lab
    • No OB required
    • Call varies and is not required (in-house if taken)
    • Typical day begins around 7:00-7:30 AM with variable case volume depending on specialty

    Requirements

    • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
    • Active Illinois license or eligibility
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
    • NRP preferred
    • Prior experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
    • Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach

    Benefits

    • Competitive 1099 compensation
    • $180/hour for up to 32 hours per week
    • $210/hour for 32+ hours per week
    • Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid quarterly over 2 years (minimum 8 shifts per month)
    • Flexible scheduling with a minimum of 20 hours per week
