Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Location: Covington - Mandeville, Louisiana

Join Our Collaborative Dental Team as a Full Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) at MoreSmiles Dental Spa in beautiful Covington - Mandeville, Louisiana! MoreSmiles Dental Spa is a premier practice with a focus on our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business, and operations team members.

Job Description:

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
• Screen patients and provide quality care during check-ups
• Educate patients in oral hygiene techniques and work with patients on their oral hygiene care
• Review patient's history and charting
• Administer prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Document areas of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed

Schedule:

• Monday and Wednesday: 8:00am to 5:00pm (huddle is 8-8:30am)
• Tuesday and Thursday: 7:00am to 4:00pm (huddle is 7-7:30am)
• Friday: 8:00am to 1:00pm (huddle is 8-8:30am)

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Louisiana
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
• Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience
• Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
• Team player, open, positive, flexible, and goal-oriented
• Experience with dental practice software
