    About the job

    Family Medicine Physician

Well-established physician-owned and led multi-specialty group in North Carolina is looking for a family medicine physician for outpatient only. They are hoping to find a full-time Family Medicine physician to start immediately. The family physicians do not do inpatient care (which is covered 24/7 by the Triad Hospitalists) or obstetrics. The call is phone call only and is 1 week every 8 weeks. Patients of family medicine physicians who require hospitalization are admitted and followed by the Triad Hospitalists (board-certified internists). Communication between the family medicine physicians and the hospitalists is excellent. Hospital admissions are at 2 local facilities, both of which are part of the Cone Health System. Both hospitals offer a comprehensive range of secondary and tertiary-level diagnostic and treatment services and 800+ beds. The family medicine residency program at Cone is affiliated with UNC Medical Center - Chapel Hill. Enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package during the first year with the group, with partnership available after 1 year.
