    About the job

    GYN Physician

A well-established women's healthcare group in Northern Connecticut seeks an additional GYN for office only. This boutique women's healthcare group, consisting of 2 GYN physicians and 1 APRN, is looking for a GYN physician interested in doing office GYN only.

They might consider someone interested in doing major surgery, but that person would have to work out coverage arrangements with another local group. Their APRN is reducing her hours, so they would like to add another physician provider to their office. They are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, conscientious, and enjoys working with a diverse patient population.

The providers average a patient every 15-20 minutes and work 6-hour blocks, seeing between 20-30 patients per day. They have 2 offices and would like to hire a provider who is mid-career with a good work ethic. This practice has great infrastructure and a strong relationship with Quest; they have mammography and bone density machines, both of which bring in additional income. The offer includes a competitive salary and benefits package, profit sharing, and bonus incentives. The area boasts great schools, easy access to the outdoors, and proximity to Litchfield County and Massachusetts.
