    OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner

    Rare opportunity to join one of the largest physician-owned and operated OB/GYN practices in the Bay Area. This well-respected group provides care to women and families, and they are seeking dynamic and skilled full-time OB/GYN Nurse Practitioners and/or PAs to join their team. Their current NPs are retiring after being with the practice for over 25 years. This position entails providing direct obstetric and gynecological medical care and treatment to patients. Full-time is Monday-Friday, no weekends. NP/PAs perform complete physical examinations, including ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests and examinations. Providers are expected to be comfortable performing in-office GYN procedures, such as IUD/Essure insertion and removal, Colposcopy, and endometrial biopsy. If the candidate is a new grad, he or she must be willing to learn. The offer includes an excellent salary and benefits package, and there is no hospital call.     Job Description

    • Provide direct obstetric and gynecological medical care and treatment to patients
    • Perform complete physical examinations, including ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests
    • Comfortable performing in-office GYN procedures such as IUD/Essure insertion and removal, Colposcopy, and endometrial biopsy

    Requirements

    • OB/GYN NP experience is preferred but not required
    • NP/PA Certification completion from an accredited nursing program
    • Must have an active NP licensure in the State of California
    • Must have prescriptive authorization, active DEA license
    • Proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by the work
    • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as electronic medical records
    • Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, physicians, and representatives of the community
    • Understand all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
    • Work onsite in one location; may be required to travel from office to office when needed

    Compensation Information
