Job Description

• Provide one-on-one patient care in a home setting
• Work with patients of all ages and medical needs
• Flexible assignment options to fit your schedule

Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Texas or qualifying Compact state as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to reliably commute
• Experience preferred but not required in tube feedings, trach care, and ventilator management; hands-on training provided for complex diagnoses and equipment management
• Previous Private Duty Nursing experience as well as ICU, NICU, or PICU experience with exposure to complex, tracheostomy, or ventilator patients is a plus
• Must successfully pass state-required background screening and drug screening
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth

Salary

• $25 to $38 per hour; may be negotiable based on premium shift and nurse experience

Schedule

• Various day and night shifts available for patients ranging in age from infant to adult
• Pay rates negotiated based on patient assignment
• Expected hours: 8 - 45 per week
