    Job Description:

    • Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients within an inpatient hospital setting
    • Evaluate patients, develop customized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, case managers, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to ensure coordinated care

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and plans of care for patients admitted to the inpatient unit
    • Interpret medical records, physician referrals, and patient histories to determine appropriate therapy plans
    • Create, implement and modify tailored therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities
    • Provide direct physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, patient and family education, and use of therapeutic modalities
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and therapy outcomes
    • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, discharge planning and case management conferences
    • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
    • Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions by following established protocols and guidelines
