    Join our dynamic team as a CRNA in Waterloo, IA, located 55 miles from Cedar Rapids and 100 miles from Des Moines. This position offers a full-time, permanent opportunity at a 204-bed, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Cedar Valley, which is the busiest hospital in the area.

    Job Description

    • Cover a variety of cases including general, urology, neurosurgery, ortho, podiatry, and OB as well as out of the OR procedures
    • Work independently with physician backup
    • Participate in a tight-knit group and work in both the hospital and ambulatory surgical center
    • Share call amongst providers and triage
    • Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient
    • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities served
    • Perform general family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
    • Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
    • Maintain a patient-focused, friendly demeanor and collaborate in a team environment
    • Exhibit excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

    Requirements

    • NBCRNA required
    • ACLS required
    • 2-3 years of experience preferred, but will consider new graduates
    • Must have a strong understanding of pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia medication
    • Good communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
    • Compassion when dealing with patients and attention to detail
